PORTABLE ANALYSER FOR AUTOMATED MEASUREMENT OF ACUTE TOXICITY IN WATER
Micromac SmarTox is a portable automated analyser for toxicity measurements equipped with color touchscreen LCD and housed in an industrial sturdy suitcase, comprising two refrigerated compartments, one for bacteria vial and the other for the samples cuvette where toxicity test are performed. Micromac SmarTox automatically measures water sample effect on bacteria luminescent and in less than 15 minutes it may give the inhibition alarm when the tested sample is toxic.
The operator will simply have to dose the sample, buffer and bacteria with the supplied pipettor following the easy instructions on the screen. All the results can be printed directly on the integrated thermal printer. The SmarTox is based on direct read luminometer and use a true discrete high purity synthetic optical cuvette system. SmarTox analyser can be used everywhere thanks to it’s internal battery pack that allows to run it for a whole day.
MAIN APPLICATION:
- Drinking water quality check
- Waste water checking
- Process water security control for food applications
- Testing the sensitivity of luminescent bacteria
- Portable emergency system for control in the field
REAL TIME GRAPH EVERY 30 SECONDS WITH INHIBITION %
UP TO 3 SIMULTANEOUS SAMPLES ANALYSIS WITH ONE BLANK
When the analysis is started the system will read automatically every 30 seconds each cuvette positions driven by an internal servomotor and plotting the value on the color touch screen calculating the real time % inhibition.
UP TO 3 SIMULTANEOUS SAMPLES ANALYSIS WITH ONE BLANK
There are 4 cuvettes position where is possible to run blanks or samples (up to 3 different samples with one blank). Positions containing the same type of “sample” will be automatically averaged by the internal software.
ON SCREEN STEP BY STEP PREPARATION WIZARD
To simplify as much as possible and avoid errors, a step-by-step guide is available with images and instructions that will appear on the touch screen during each sample preparation phase.
